Second annual Viking Cup was held over the weekend
Visiting polo teams from the UK have been left impressed with the 'excellent facilities' on the Island, according to the organiser of a three-day tournament.
The second annual Viking Cup was held at the Ballacooiley Equestrian Centre in Ballaugh over the weekend.
The tournament, sponsored by Ramsey Crookall in support of Hospice Isle of Man, saw more teams and an extra day added after the success of last year's event.
The visiting teams for this year’s event were Shrewsbury Polo and Offchurch Bury Polo, who played together with the Isle of Man's Triskelion Polo Club.
Triskelion Polo Club co-founder Fraser Houston says the success of the event is heartening for the club, which is only just starting to recover again post-Covid:
