They were suspended in early August following Covid outbreak
Visits to the Isle of Man Prison have now resumed.
They'd been temporarily suspended in early August after five Covid-19 cases were discovered at the Jurby facility.
The prison has now been covid-free for over 28 days.
Meanwhile, the gym there has also reopened - it's available to inmates subject to staffing availability day-to-day.
Prison visits from outside agencies such as Samaritans, Independent Monitoring Board and Chaplaincy have also been given the green light.
Government has also confirmed resettlement work within the facility is also back underway as are resettlement day releases.
Prison Governor, Leroy Bonnick, notified prisoners about the easing of restrictions.
He recently described the conduct of inmates during the Covid-19 lockdown there as 'impeccable'.
