
A holidaymaker from Baldrine, stranded abroad during the volcanic ash crisis, has been describing how he travelled home in grand style, and at huge expense!
Architect Tony Pass was enjoying a four day break in Venice when the eruption in Iceland happened.
He and thousands of other tourists were forced to spend large sums on hotels, food and clothes as they tried to find a way home.
A local travel agent joked that his only option was a trip through six Europeon countries on the Orient Express.
