Douglas Corporation says it will take a planning application for parking facilities at Noble's Park 'all the way to appeal'.
An initial application for 25 spaces, on the site of the former 'Tot Lot' at the St Ninian's Road end of the park, has been turned down.
Leader of the Council David Christian (pictured) says it's disappointing, particularly in view of the £2.5 million pounds redevelopment of the nearby Noble's Park pavilion, which will be officially opened on April 19 (audio file attached):
