Focus on austim and youth post-care
The Tynwald select committee tasked with investigating the provision of accommodation for vulnerable young people will begin taking evidence next week.
Leaving care and autism is the focus of the first inquiry, which will hear from the Chief Executive of Autism Initiatives Andrew Grainger on Thursday, 7 March.
This session will be followed by representatives of the Department of Health and Social Care on Monday, 11 March, which includes the director of children and families and the director of estates and public housing .
Children's charity St Christopher's will also give evidence as will the manager from the Aftercare Team.
The committee formed after a motion from Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker last year, which received unanimous backing from Tynwald.
