School bus routes will be affected during tree works
Laxey School will run a 'walking bus' while a road in the village is closed for five days.
The Department of Infrastructure will need to shut a section of the Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road on a daily basis from today for five days.
It's after heavy rain last week left a number of trees at risk of falling.
The closures will affect pupils who take the bus home in the evening, so staff will take students on foot to the MER stop at the end of the school day.
Stops at Ard Reayrt and Dumbells Terrace will be missed, but all routes towards Onchan will be served as normal.
The closure will be in place from 9am to 4.30pm between today and Monday.
