Two groups spotted during Monday's racing
Bikers and motorists are being urged to stick to the Island's green lanes and highways and not ride their machines off designated tracks.
The warning comes after two separate groups of enduro bikers were seen riding around the hills of Snaefell during Monday's racing.
Police say not only is it an offence but the bikers could 'recklessly' disturb wildlife and livestock in the area - putting TT riders, marshals and spectators at risk.
Riding in such a way, officers say, goes against the Road Traffic Act, Forestry Act and Wildlife Act.
The uplands are home to Hen Harriers - ground-nesting, and one of Britain's most endangered, birds of prey.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and police are searching for the riders shown in photos which have circulated on social media.
