Roof of baggage x-ray room damaged during storm
Foot passengers are being asked to arrive early to check-in for sailings.
It’s due to damage caused by Storm Eowyn at the Isle of Man Sea Terminal.
The Department of Infrastructure has told Manx Radio the roof of the baggage x-ray room was damaged with debris smashing windows to its boardroom above.
As a result foot passengers checking in hold-luggage are being asked to take it with them to the security area.
Manx Radio understands it’s having little impact on the check-in times and work has already begun on fixing the roof.
