Yellow weather warning issued by Island's Met Office

Coastal roads and promenades around the Island are likely to be hit by waves around high tide this afternoon.

Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping from 1pm until 4pm.

Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade and the northern end of Douglas promenade will see the worst of the conditions, while Ramsey and Laxey are also likely to be affected.

Forecasters say there's likely to be water and debris hitting exposed areas around high tide, which is at 2.35pm.
