Unite members have entered a third round of strike action against bus vannin
The union representing striking bus drivers on the Isle of Man says it refuses to discuss any offers from bus vannin that include a change to contracts.
Unite members have today (Friday 13 March) entered their third round of industrial action in a long-running dispute over pay and conditions.
The DOI insists it's committed to negotiating a mutually acceptable settlement, and that representatives of bus vannin have attended all scheduled negotiations and have not imposed any preconditions on participation.
But regional officer of the Isle of Man branch of Unite, Debbie Halsall, says they need to come to the table with a no-catch offer:
Both parties are scheduled to attend a meeting with MIRS this morning to continue discussions.
