MHK unhappy with gov't flood response
An MHK says government's response to last week's floods in Laxey hasn't been good enough so far.
Julie Edge has tabled two questions on the topic in next week's sitting of Tynwald.
Senior government ministers, including Chief Minister Howard Quayle, have promised that lessons have been, and will be, learned from the incident.
But Ms Edge told Manx Radio she wants to see more than just words:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
Traders on Michael Street feel 'abandoned' by politicians in tough times
