What a sight!

A treat was in store for those lucky enough to gaze out over Douglas Bay on Tuesday.

A pod of up to 200 Bottlenose dolphins could be clearly seen stretched across calm seas a mile-and-a-half wide.

It's the biggest single group seen off the Island since records began - and delighted crowds of onlookers as word got around.

John Galpin from Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch says conditions were perfect - and many people enjoyed the sight of a lifetime.
