Whistleblowing, conflicts of interest and telecoms on Tynwald agenda

Plenty to consider after budget

Though the budget will be the main focus of the early part of today's sitting of Tynwald, there's plenty more for members to consider.

Changes to whistleblowing policies, conflicts of interest and telecoms strategies will all feature.

The debate on public finances could take all day today with both questions and other motions likely deferred.

But, when members do get to those stages, there will be discussions on testing for UK key workers, gas regulation and plans to join the Paris Agreement.

There are 23 questions for oral answer and 51 written enquiries fielded by members.

Members will also vote on motions over gas regulation, the digital strategy and a public register of conflicts of interest.

To listen to the sitting in full, tune into Manx Radio's AM1368 frequency, listen online or via your smartphone.
