Committee to investigate government policy
Legal safeguards for workers who report colleagues for breaking the law are to be reviewed.
A new committee of Tynwald members has been appointed to investigate government's policy on whistleblowing.
The idea was put forward by Onchan MHK Julie Edge, who will chair a committee alongside MLCs Jane Poole-Wilson and Kerry Sharpe.
'Whistleblowers' are afforded certain legal rights under the terms of the 2006 Employment Act.
