Recording released by Culture Vannin
Culture Vannin is trying to unravel the mystery behind a recently-unearthed artefact from Christmases gone by.
It's a recording of the traditional Manx hymn Oikan ayns Bethlehem (EEKAN uns Bethlehem), recorded at a church service in 1968.
But it isn't known whose voice is behind the ethereal performance: (play audio)
Culture Vannin says it's relying on members of the public to share any information they have about the tape.
