Questions about "Year of our Island" coin continue
A Douglas MHK wants to know why plans for a commemorative coin got as far as they did before they were then scrapped.
The five pound coin was mooted as a way of celebrating the "Year of Our Island", 2018.
However, quite a long way into the process, it was judged that demand would not justify the coin being produced, resulting in the idea being dropped.
