Wide range of subjects in Keys

Civil partnerships, airport security and the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games are among the issues to be discussed in Tuesday's House of Keys sitting.

As well as questions, there'll be the second reading of the Female Genital Mutilation Bill and the third reading of the Gender Recognition Bill.

The Legislative Council will also sit on Tuesday, where the coverage of public affairs on Manx Radio will be discussed.

MHK for Douglas North, Bill Henderson, will ask three questions on the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games, focusing on what will be done to ensure the success of the games, with one specifically asking about plans to refurbish the Bowl.

The Chief Minister will answer a question from Peter Karran asking when civil partnership legislation will be introduced.

Other topics for debate include the salaries of public servants and the auctioning of repossessed homes.

At Tuesday's sitting of LegCo, Eddie Lowey will ask whether Manx Radio gives sufficient coverage of its affairs.
