Wildlife Park coping well with warm weather

Animals enjoying a 'great summer'

The Island's wildlife park, and its animals, are faring well in the unusually long spell of warm, dry weather.

Many of the animals, like their human counterparts, have been enjoying the sunshine - according to the General Manager of the northern visitor attraction.

During the hottest periods however, some animals have been provided with showers and fruit ice blocks to help them cool down.

Although its location in the Ballaugh Curragh means the ground doesn't completely dry out, Kathleen Graham says there have been some changes this year:
