Roadkill incidents on the rise, say conservationists
More than a thousand people have signed up to a pledge to protect wildlife on Manx roads.
Conservationists complained of a 'shocking' rise in the number of animals being killed by vehicles this summer.
One incident, in which three ducks were allegedly deliberately run over by a van in August, attracted widespread attention.
Police warned motorists such acts were illegal.
Sandy Huyton from the Manx Hedgehog Conservation Society launched a petition in response:
MHK to present territorial waters petition on behalf of campaigner
Temporary units approved for 'critical dialysis' service in north
Parents asked for their views on childcare provision
'Incredible' Island has no strategy for its territorial waters, says MHK
