Elderly people in the Isle of Man are being told to try and keep warm and not sit and shiver during the winter months.
The charity Age Concern says the elderly are particularly at risk when the temperature falls, because they feel the cold so much more than younger people.
Chief Executive Penny Creighton says it's vital to have at least one warm room:
