Roads Policing Unit working to make roads safer
Motorists are being urged to ensure their vehicles remain in good condition through the winter period.
Police have spent the last two weeks based at strategic locations around the Island – pulling vehicles they see with defects:
Motorists with issues have been given words of advice, instructions to fix faults within seven days and in some cases fines.
