Woman found with multiple injuries after Peel Fire Festival

'Assault can't be ruled out' say police

Police say a woman was taken to hospital with multiple injuries after being found in Peel on the night of the Fire Festival.

She was found on Love Lane at around 4:30pm with injuries to her head and chest and a possible fractured collar bone.

Officers say it's unknown how the woman came to sustain these injuries, and say the possibility of assault cannot be ruled out.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, or who was in the area at the time, is urged to contact police.
