A 37 year-old woman who admitted breaching a supervision order has been told to pay a £500 fine immediately, or go to jail for 30 days.
Susan Fanway, whose address was given as care of David Gray House, admitted being drunk in a public place, which was in breach of the order, made on March 23.
Jane Hughes, prosecuting, said the probation service found Fanway difficult to supervise because of her alcohol abuse, and asked for the order to be revoked.
High Bailiff Michael Moyle said her behaviour was contemptuous.
He had given her plenty of chances to cooperate, but she was 'firmly wedded to the bottle'.
He ordered a suspended sentence imposed in March to remain in place.
