Chief minister says concern over finances based on 'more sentiment than actual evidence'
The chief minister says he's working with the treasury and enterprise ministers to get confidence back in the economy.
Concerns were raised about the Island's finances in Tynwald this month, but Alfred Cannan insists that was based on 'more sentiment than actual evidence'.
He admits data on economic issues is too slow in being published.
Mr Cannan told Manx Radio next year's budget will look to stimulate the economy:
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
