A section of coastline in the south of the Island will remain closed for at least a few days, while the emergency services deal with unexploded World War II shells.
Police are advising the public to stay clear of Spanish Head, after the discovey of what are thought to be mortar rounds.
They were found by a walker at about 5.30pm yesterday.
Inspector Michael Musson says the area has been cordoned off as a precaution:
