Xmas shopping advice from OFT

With Christmas just over three weeks away, online shoppers are being advised to choose their sites with care.

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading is warning about the growing problem of counterfeit, and often dangerous, goods being offered for sale on the web.

In the past shoddy, fake items have been seized from markets and car boot sales, and traders prosecuted.

But tracking down internet traders is much more difficult, so the advice from OFT chief inspector John Peet is make sure you only buy from reputable sites:
