Series of events planned to celebrate profession
The Isle of Man is to join in the World Health Organisation Year of the Nurse and Midwife in 2020.
It's also the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale.
There will be a past and present display to launch the campaign in January ahead of a series of events which will finish with a planned awards ceremony in December.
Everyone is invited to take part including practitioners from hospitals, community and GP practices, Hospice and private residential homes.
It's hoped the year will promote unity in the profession and encourage more people to consider nursing or midwifery as a career.
