Rebecca Hills reflects on starting a new business on the Island in a challenging climate
A new business owner on the Island says redundancy paved the way for her to turn her passion into a career.
Rebecca Mills had been working in marketing on the Island before she lost her job in October 2025.
Rather than trying to find another job in the same sector, she used her payout to start Vera Rae Image Consultancy in Ballasalla.
She now helps people to find the best colours to suit their complexions and dress for their body shape.
