Yellow weather warning extended into tomorrow

Frost and icy patches to continue over next 24 hours

A yellow weather warning for frost and icy patches has been extended.

Ronaldsway Met Office says adverse conditions are expected to continue affecting the Island until 3pm tomorrow.

Hills above 1000 feet and some lower areas are to be affected, with icy patches possible anywhere roads remain wet into the night.

Minimum temperatures will be close to zero.

The Mountain Road remains closed.

A yellow warning means: ‘Be Aware’ - Risk of bad weather affecting activities. Some travel delays, risk of minor damage, localised or temporary disruption.
