Yellow weather warning for heavy rain

Rainfall could lead to localised flooding

A yellow weather warning is in place on the Island until 1pm today.

The Met Office at Ronaldsway is warning of heavy rain Island-wide, with the highest rainfall expected over the hills.

The amount of rain is likely to result in standing water, which could lead to difficult driving conditions and a risk of localised flooding.

Conditions are expected to improve this afternoon.
