Young adults invited to question General Election candidates

'Nature - Who Cares?' will provide chance to raise issues important to them

Young adults are being invited to question General Election candidates next week. 

In an event called 'Nature - Who Cares?', people aged 16-25 will get to ask prospective MHK's about the issues that matter to them. 

It has been organised by the Manx Wildlife Trust and will take place at University College Isle of Man on Wednesday, 16 September.  

Tiphaine Claveau is the charity's education officer, she says: "The event is a chance for young people to ask questions, challenge ideas and make their voice heard. 

"Young people care deeply about the Isle of Man and they have their say in its future."

MWT expects the event to go over topics such as the environment, community spaces, housing, cost of living, and jobs. 

Tiphaine says it is important young people to have a chance to speak to candidates:

'Nature - Who Cares?' takes place at the UCM on 16 September.
