MWT hoping to raise awareness through short film 'Wildlife Remembered'
Young people on the Isle of Man are key in helping to stop wildlife disappearing from our Island.
That’s the view of the Manx Wildlife Trust.
Next month will mark the premiere of the charity’s new 15-minute film ‘Wildlife Remembered’ which aims to put a spotlight on conservation efforts.
It will take place at King’s Court Theatre, at King William’s College, on 20 April.
Graeme Makepeace-Warne is the head of engagement and produced and directed the film.
He said: "Wildlife Remembered delves into the concept of shifting baseline syndrome - a phenomenon where successive generations witness a decline in wildlife, accepting it as the new norm.
"Through heartfelt interviews with local residents, the film paints a vivid picture of the diminishing presence of wildlife in the Isle of Man."
