Youngsters ask Santa for peace 'for all children' and warm clothes this Christmas

IoM Post Office received 4,500 letters for Santa last year

Thousands of letters could be sent from the Isle of Man to the North Pole this year.

The Isle of Man Post Office is running an express letter service to Father Christmas – but is urging children to put pen to paper sooner rather than later.

Maxine Cannon is the general manager of stamps and coins and has told Manx Radio Santa has been impressed by their wish lists so far.

While some youngsters are asking for toys this years, others are making very different requests:

If you’d like to send a message to St Nick simply post your letter in one of the red post boxes – don’t forget to include a first-class stamp, and a self-addressed envelope, so he can reply!
