
A new drop-in centre in Douglas is aiming to become the place to be for youngsters who reckon there's nothing to do.
Plans have been put forward to transform the old Travel Shop in Lord Street into a youth cafe.
The facility would offer teenagers a safe place to socialise, and an alternative to hanging around in the street or binge drinking.
It would be supervised by the Youth Service, with youth workers on hand to offer advice and information.
But young people would ultimately run and manage the project themselves.
