Aaron Cook fell at the first hurdle on the final day of the Taekwondo World Championships.
Aaron, who was competing for the Isle of Man, lost out 13-11 to Piotr Pazinski of Poland in his first match in the under-80kg category.
The 22-year-old, began competing for the Island after being left out of Team GB's Olympic squad last year.
Aaron saw his former team-mates end their tournament without a medal after Great Britain's Damon Sansum went out with a 7-6 defeat to Anton Kotkov of Russia.
