A candidate for Malew and Santon in next month's general election says the Manx government needs to cut staff and reduce the number of offices it uses.
The loss of revenue from the VAT agreement with the United Kingdom has left the Isle of Man looking to make savings to balance its accounts.
And, on Talking Heads today (Tuesday), property owner and former hotelier John Hanson told Stu Peters government had to look at the number of people it employed (listen to audio file below):
Malew and Santon is currently a three-way fight, between Mr Hanson, sitting member Graham Cregeen and Gareth Kelly.
