It was a close call in Glenfaba on Thursday night, with a margin of six per cent between the top two candidates.
Health Minister David Anderson held onto his seat with 649 votes, beating his closest challenger Geoffrey Boot by just under 100. The other candidate, Matthew Wadsworth, got 185.
The 66 per cent poll was in keeping with a tradition of good turnouts in the constituency.
