Neill Angus is the new chairman of the Isle of Man Cricket Association.
He takes over from Barry Smith who stands down after a highly successful term of office.
In appreciation of his service, last week’s Annual General Meeting elected him an honorary vice-president.
Other officials elected included Martin Webb (President), Sue Davidson (Secretary), Gareth Dawson (Chief Development Officer), Rob Webber (Club Rep), Trevor Vels (Sponsorship) and Maurice Trace (Fixtures & Media).
The new season starts on Saturday 27th April, but some clubs will be in action the previous week.
They include Crosby who this year are visiting Amsterdam for a series of matches.
