Anstey cracks 130mph, but Sidecars red flagged after incident at Kerrowmoar

It was another bright, clear evening for the second TT practice session of 2014, and that brought more quick times.

Last night, Bruce Anstey topped 127mph on his Superbike, and he once again led the way.

He became the first rider of TT2014 to lap at more than 130mph, and almost reached 131mph.

The likes of Michael Dunlop, Guy Martin and John McGuinness were also posting very quick times for the second session.

And birthday boy Conor Cummins, the Ramsey Rocket, was going well, recording a lap of more that 128mph from a standing start.

Meanwhile, out for the first time were the Supertwin bikes, which featured two returning riders, Ryan Farquhar and firstly, Keith Amor: (play audio)

The Sidecar session was red flagged about half way through following an incident at Kerrowmoar in the north of the Island and did not resume.

It involved outfit number 35 - Nev Jones was described as okay, passenger Milan Vorel was taken to Noble's hospital by helicopter with possible fractures.
