Rodger Sleight also sets personal best in Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Manx archer Lesley Sleight has set a new English archery record whilst involved in competition at the weekend.
She and Rodger Sleight - both members of Bowderyn Vannin Field Archery Club - took part in the latest English Field Archery Association (EFAA) classification shoot on Sunday (24 March) hosted by Merlin Field Archers in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
Lesley would go on to smash the English benchmark in the Veteran Ladies Traditional Recurve Class for the Marked Forester round by 35 points.
It means she now holds both the Adult and Veteran records in the class.
Elsewhere Rodger managed a milestone with a new personal best score of 210 in the Men's Traditional Recurve Class.
