Three Manx club members excel at Napier University
There has been more success and strong results for three Manx archery club members during the latest Scottish Indoor Championships.
John Angiolini, Lesley Sleight and Rose Sandilands all took part in respective classes during the event held at Napier University in Edinburgh last Sunday (25 February).
Contesting the Senior Male Freestyle Compound Class, Angiolini - a member of the Scottish Field Archery Association - took the gold medal in the category to be crowned Scottish champion.
Elsewhere, Sleight took gold in the Ladies Longbow event as well as top spot in the Veteran Traditional Recurve Class.
Sandilands, meanwhile, only just missed out on a medal in the Adult Female Freestyle Unlimited Class, taking fourth place.
Angiolini and Sandilands are also due to represent Scotland at the upcoming European Indoor Archery Championship in Fuertaventura, Spain from 18-24 March.
