Nearly 200 signed up for full and half marathon challenges on Saturday (4 April)
One of the Isle of Man's leading fell running challenges is expecting a health turnout of competitors this weekend.
The Manx Mountain Marathon and Half Mountain Marathon are due to take place on Saturday (4 April), with the full marathon to start in Ramsey and finish at Bradda Glen in Port Erin.
Meanwhile, the half marathon race will have the same finishing point but start in St John's and then cover the remainder of the full marathon route.
Nearly 200 entries have been confirmed for the event with 'a high percentage' of those involving participants from off-Island.
The full marathon will get underway in Ramsey at 8am on Saturday whilst the half is due to begin in St John's at the later time of 1pm.
Organisers say they're also monitoring the expected poor weather and high winds which are forecast on the day of the meeting which may result in certain sections being re-routed.
A final decision on any changes the course will be made tomorrow (3 April) and runners will be notified by email if there are any alterations.
