Athletics: Ryan Corrin claims victory in Ramsey 10k

Cain wins women's race in third round of No Rest For The Wicked series

Ryan Corrin emerged victorious during the Ramsey 10k race in the north of the Island last night (11 August).

In what was the third round of this year's No Rest For The Wicked Series, Corrin claimed top spot in the men's and overall classifications in a time of 33 minutes and 54 seconds.

His pace saw him cross the line just over 30 seconds ahead of second-placed man, James Read (34 minutes and 26 seconds) whilst the completing the men's top three was Eamon Farrell (34 minutes and 43 seconds).

Meanwhile, Christa Cain took the women's race win and seventh place overall in 35 minutes and 41 seconds.

The second female finisher was Kirsty Barber (40 minutes and two seconds) ahead of Elena Caley (40 minutes and 45 seconds), both of whom finished inside the overall top-40.

More broadly, for Read and Corrin it's back-to-back top-three finishes in the series with both claiming second and third respectively in round two in Monday's Peel Hill Race (10 August).

The 2026 No Rest For The Wicked Series continues this evening (12 August) with The Killer Mile race which was originally due to start at 7pm but may be delayed due to tonight's solar eclipse.
