The young Manx star was in a medically-induced coma for three-and-a-half weeks following the accident near his Tuscan training base on September 19th.
He was operated on on September 25th to remove a blood clot from between his skull and brain.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still unclear, although it's reported local police are looking into the possibility of it being a hit-and-run as no skid marks were found on the road where it happened.
