Top clash produces eight goal thriller

The Mixed Premier League champions have started the season as they finished the last one.

Bacchas A made it two wins out of two with an 8-0 thumping of Harlequins A.

Hat-tricks from Karl Moore and Andy Whiting, plus one apiece from Kim Carney and Jamie Brown, did the damage.

The match of the day ended all square as Vikings A and Valkyrs A drew 4-4.

Will Blake (two), Tim Henderson and Zoe Crowe were on target for Vikings.

The sides were evenly matched with Ollie Webster, Ellen Cleator, Karmina Kovanda and Luis Novo Smith finding the net for Valkyrs.

Ramsey A produced a fine victory with a 3-1 success against Bacchas B.

Thomas Tsitsos, Juan Kermeen and Megan Roberts were on target for the northerners with Sophie Hudson replying for Ramsey.
