Cavendish, Christians and Kennaugh lead Manx challenge

A big day of cycling action has arrived with the British Road Race Championship taking place on the Isle of Man on Sunday.

The women's race starts from the Grandstand at 9am with one lap of the TT Course followed by six laps of a finishing circuit which uses Ballanard Road, the Scollag Road and back on to the TT Course at Cronk-Ny-Mona.

The men's race is over two laps of the TT Course followed by ten laps of the finishing circuit and starts at 1.45pm.

There has already been one Manx champion crowned with Anna Christian winning the under-23 Time Trial.
