Brogan joins Geordies

Neil Brogan has moved from Laxey to Premier League Champions St. George's.

The player was sent off in a stormy encounter between the sides at Glencrutchery Road last August for pushing referee Tony McMeiken to the ground late on in the match.

The game saw eight yellow cards and two sent-off as Laxey finished with just nine players on the pitch.

Also moving to St. George's is Gymns striker Neil Teare.

Isle of Man goalkeeper Grant Dawson, who failed to gain a regular place in the Peel side due to the form of club stalwart Kelvin Dawson, has left Douglas Road.

He is heading south to "old firm" rivals Rushen.

Castletown have been busy attracting back former players as they seek a return to the top flight.

The fourth most successful club in Manx Football has a crop of promising youngsters who performed well enough for a fourth place finish in Division Two last term.

Returning to the Stadium are Lee Davenport from arch southern rivals Rushen, and Mark Notman, Jack and Ben Charmer from Malew.

Christian Penswick (Northern Athletic to Ayre)
Andrew Cleator (Ayre to Ramsey)
Alex Doddrell (Ayre to Ramsey)
Daniel Pownall (Onchan to Rushen)
