Three competitions at the Ayres

It was a busy day at Blue Point yesterday (Sunday) with Ayre Clay Target Club holding three competitions.

Kevin Oates and George Davies shared the win in the Sportrap, scoring 43/50. James Bradley won the Absolute Scaffolding sponsored Olympic Skeet with 44/50 and Phil Ward took top spot in the Olympic Trap with a score of 47.

Results of the Sportrap:

A Class: 1=, George Davies and Kevin Oates 43/50; 3, Phil Butler 42.

B Class: 1, Jake Brew; 2= Eddie Brew and Jack Kneen 37.

C Class: 1, Jordan Dougherty 34; 2, Fred Waggett 30; 3, Peter Chadney 29.

This week is a 100 target English Skeet Selection Shoot, incorporating the 50 target Penketh-Millar sponsored league competition.
