Mark Cavendish has been beaten in another sprint finish at the Tour of Spain, coming third on stage five.
The 25-year-old Manxman lost out to sprint rival Tyler Farrar, who won the stage, and second-placed Koldo Fernandez.
Cavendish launched his attack too early in sweltering heat on the streets of Lorca and was overhauled by Farrar and Fernandez just before the line.
He was also pipped at the line on stage two, by Belarussian Yauheni Hutarovich.
