Manxman treated for cuts, rejoins bunch
Mark Cavendish was involved in a crash on stage two of the Saudi Tour today.
It happened within the first 70km of the stage, when a handful of riders went down.
Cav needed a bandage on his leg after reportedly suffering a cut or puncture wound from a chain-ring.
He made it back into the bunch despite the crash, but then another crash in the middle of the bunch took down a selection of riders with about 10km to go.
Cavendish wasn't involved this time, but he was held up by the collision and lost contact with the bunch.
He had already relinquished sprint duties for the stage, following his injury.
